Last part of my build

Hi guys I am waiting for the last two parts (preordered 3080, and cpu) to buy and arrive and then I can build my new rig,
As I’m still waiting on my preordered 3080 from overclockers I have a cpu to choose from and buy.
This will be my first time buying amd as I have always had intel so my question is should I just buy the 3900x now or wait till the 5900x comes out on the 5th November ?
I still can’t actually use my new build even if you guys decide to tell me theirs not a massive difference between them both and buy the 3900x, but I can start putting together the pc and have only the gpu left to slot in.
BUT! last week I was around 1,000 in the que for the msi 3080 so can’t see that coming before November.

Unless you game at 1080p there won't be a noticeable difference between them but that said its still worth waiting as the 3900X will like receive a price cut when the 5900X launches.
