Any reccomendations/changes that i should be aware of before i buy?

I was thinking of another 4890 quite a long way in the future so that PSU should be able to cope with that right?

I hear the biostar can be picky with ram anybody used this combo before?

Finally is the 4890 really noisy, would i be better off dropping down to the gainward gtx260 or sapphire 4870?

This is what I would go for.

Asus 4890 will overclock better because of the voltage tweak and is same price as XFX.
This Asus monitor is better.
Better CPU cooler.
Better PSU.
2 640GB drives so you can RAID if you want.
As for Vista, you can download Windows 7 for free, and that should last you a year or so.

Hi there, couple of ideas:

I have not heard much about the Biostar, but you can get the Gigabyte UD5 for the same money. The gigabyte is a universally recognised great board and DEFINATELY supports that RAM.

For the graphics card, unless you really want those bundled games - the ASUS 4890 is a better card. Its voltage tweak overclocks the card up to 950MHz (+100MHz) and it is all covered under the warranty :)

Other than that, great build. Hope you will post some build pics :D
