lastpass gone to premium only ?

Has anyone recently been successful in deleting their lastpass account? I have been using bitwarden self-hosted for a while (now vaultwarden I guess), and an SMS verification code for lastpass reminded me I should delete it as I haven't needed to go back.
Following both the known/unknown master password paths doesn't work, having tried multiple browsers I get a "Delete Your Account" page with no further options.
It is truly a shame how Logmein have totally corrupted the original service

As soon as another company bigger takes over they destroy it. Always the case.
