Sorry to those who replied before but thought I had it in wrong forum so moved it.

Does anyone else use this or not ??

I spent days manually transferring all my log in details to Lastpass but hadn't actually started using it yet - Just kept it to store securely my login and password details till I was fully changed over from old PC.

Just logged in to it today and empty - nowt -zilch - nothing !!

Good job I kept a hard copy on piece of paper. - Does anyone know if CCleaner or SpyBot could have erased them -- I doubt it as I think they are store in space.

I know one prog that isn't going to last long in install/uninstall prog

Have you tried logging in online to access your vault to see if your details are there?

I use it on 2 different pc's & Nexus 7 without any problems.

Just gone to Lastpass site and logged in - Nothing - all gone - This has given me some comfort over not trusting "the cloud" - never leave data in thin air.

Bit of an update -- was messing with it last night and for some reason everything was in my Lastpass Vault - Logged in this morning and nothing in Vault - so logged onto one of my forums- lastpass asked if I wanted to save it which I did and that is showing now each time I log on - Unfortunately not my existing data -

So is there anything that would stop my data downloading - ie Java or Avast AV or any other security feature - I also have CCleaner and Spybot - could either of these have an effect on Lastpass.

Been onto Lastpass home page and the FAQ's but couldn't see anything obvious.

Things are great when they are working ain't they. - Then they give you a headache.

Hmm strange, next time it appears, try exporting it to a csv file (last pass, tools export to) and then try re importing in. Really odd issue though!

Just wondering, have you checked the windows event log just in case it's not a windows or other application causing it?

I have the event log up but which heading am I looking at.

Application - security - setup -system etc. - even then I have no idea what I am looking for.

right - gone through last two days and under Applications I have had
4x Warnings -- User Profile Service
8 x Errors WMI --
1 x side by side
2 x MSi Installer

Under System
Warnings or errors
2x Kernal PnP 219
3 x DNS Client event 1014

I have got all my log in and passwords elsewhere as I was adding them bit at a time - (horrible job) so how about just uninstalling and starting again

One more thing - every time I click another function I have to sign in again - is this right.?

That is worrying to hear, I don't think I have a hard copy of all my passwords now...I think I have about 280 different ones at last count!

Better look to see if there is a way of downloading them to a spreadsheet or something I think!

Once you are logged in you should not have to log in again that often so it would seem to me you have some other issue which is affecting this. I have been using Lastpass for years and never once had an issue like you describe.

I have one and half A4 pages - fortunately I never shredded pages after put them into LP.

Going to see if there is an update which might help - after that will try downloading it again and see if it will come up already installed do you want to overwrite it - Doubt it but will try it - after that it's back to paper and pencil.

Try creating a new account and enter maybe 5-10 passwords, see if it syncs ok (and try on another PC to make sure it's syncing properly)

Given up - uninstalled it and now set up Fire Fox password filler with big long password.

hate it when things go pear shaped.

Thanks for trying to help everyone.
