right , the situation is like this. I work in a small-medium firm as an engineer. The boss for the last year is giving us a hell of a time and is always , i mean a month and a half late approximately , handing late our wages. And on top of that we have no word on whats going on with the wages and if and when are we going to get paid , no word whatsoever!

now i am not sure if the boss or the bosses have any obligation for letting us know when are we going to get paid , but FFS we have bills to pay and need to make plans etc.

now , i know my boss for 3-4 years and he is a very fine person , but these events lately have made me mad. I woke up in the morning and i feel like being drawn to slavery :(

how should i make him clear that i cannot put up this any longer , give me any ideas

well it does face some sort of financial problems but it does because of some stupid decisions on buying equipment...shouldnt they make sure we get paid first and then sort out equipment/machinery needs?

I'm told this is more usual than you might think: companies invest in new equipment/premises/whatever knowing they don't have the money, and then try to save it by paying their staff late. If you don't stand up for your rights he'll keep treating you like slaves. It's likely that he's going to reply with the "Oh I know it's not right paying you guys late, but I justs didn't wantto have to let any of you go so I didn't have a choice". I've heard that one used before - guilt-tripping you and threatening you at the same time that he's going to start laying people off if you all insist on getting paid on time.

Bingo , it is exactly like this.
