Latest Bambu firmware breaks AMS?

Just upgraded to 1.09.01.00 on the X1C and then 00.00.06.75 on the AMS (separately as the AMS was unintentionally unplugged when I did the X1C). Now, I can't load any filament. Anyone else seeing anything similar or know of any other causes?

When it loads filament from the AMS for a print job, it feeds it all the way to the extruder, then all the way back, then back to the extruder, then back. Does this a few times and then declares it cannot extrude so the nozzle must be clogged.
Bypass the AMS and hand load and it works fine. As far as I can tell, the extruder is trying to feed the filament but the AMS (or maybe the buffer) is hanging onto it tight so the extruder can't feed anything. I've loaded as an external filament and printed a couple of jobs with no problem...it just won't from the AMS. The cable to the buffer and then onto the AMS are plugged in and the spring-loaded part in the buffer moves fine.

Rolled back firmware through Bambu Handy app and filament now loads. We'll have to see if the next release works any better.

I've certainly seen others having similar issues. One of the odd things is that there seems to have been a mistake with the AMS firmware numbering as it goes 00.00.06.44 > 00.01.06.62 > 00.00.06.75 Technically that last (latest) one is a big step backwards but if you assume that the sudden massive jump forward was incorrect and it should have been 00.00.06.62, it makes sense. They should have stuck by the accident to be clear. You can always try the update and if you have a problem, you can roll back with the Handy app.

Could be. It'd make sense to either have completely separate firmware for the HD2 or to have a large increment to the firmware number if it's shared between them.
Would be interested to hear if yours works after an upgrade if you go ahead. Just on the off-chance it's been fixed or your end up with a different version of the AMS firmware to what I got.

Ditto....but I was hoping to fix the irritating error about nozzle and printer diameter mismatch when you try to calibarate a filament - even though everything is set to 0.4mm nozzle.
