Realistic document print speeds
Canon supports the industry-wide ISO standard for measuring print and copy speeds. This makes it easy to select the right PIXMA for you based on real document print speeds. The PIXMA MP270 offers ISO ESAT speeds of 8.4ipm for mono documents and 4.8ipm for colour.
Photolab-quality
Canon's patented FINE technology with 2pl size ink droplets delivers great print quality, with 4800x1200dpi resolution. Photos appear amazingly detailed and free from grain. While Canon’s FINE cartridges use dye-based inks for perfect photo printing, an additional pigment black ink ensures that text is crisp and sharp. The PIXMA MP270 combines quality with speed. A 10x15cm borderless photo can be printed in approximately 45 seconds with default settings.*
Intelligent features and software
Easy-WebPrint EX is intuitive software that makes it easy to clip, edit and print information from the web: organise multiple clippings on a single page to save paper. Auto Photo Fix II is advanced software that corrects a wide range of common image faults including underexposure. Using sophisticated Scene Analysis and Face Detection technology, problems such as red eye are swiftly eliminated. Exposure levels of separate parts of an image are optimised for best results.
Efficient scanning
Scan in detail using the 1200dpi scanner. Auto Scan Mode automatically senses what is being scanned – a photo or a document – before saving it using the most appropriate settings.
Print without a computer
For camera owners, a PictBridge connection allows photos to be printed directly from compatible digital cameras, camera phones or camcorders.
Convenient self-opening paper tray
