Anyone having trouble with this?

Installed the software yesterday, or the day before and never thought much more of it - MBP stopped connecting wirelessly to the Internet last night, much to my frustration - turned it on this morning and it worked fine again.

Another while and it just stopped dead connecting - now it won't connect at all. I've tried changing allowances, passkeys and so on for the router and network - but I'm pretty sure it's the latest software update gone bad. Just looking confirmation I guess.

Went onto the official Apple forums and people are having trouble connecting wirelessly - but it seems to be the case with new MBPs and people being unable to connect before and after software updates.

I can see other wireless networks in my neighbourhood (can't connect unfortunately ;) ) but it would suggest something is up.

Cheers.

I had the same problem earlier this year with one of the previous airport updates. This screwed with both of my macs, the Macbook and the mini.

I didn't successfully find a resolution just had to put up with the crappy connection until Apple released their next patch, Thankfully this fixed it.

I'm still running quite an old 802.11 kext because all of the recent updates have caused me performance and connectivity problems, I just got a copy of the original kext from my install DVD and copied it over the new one.

I might give the new one a go and see if it's any better.

I had an issue a while back (last update?).. MBP was connected to the access point, and the router was synced it just wouldn't let me browse the net.

Thankfully all I had to do was reset the router and all was fine :o

Unfortunately I think it's that patch which has messed things up for me. :(

Tried resetting the router and all the standard stuff - no go, may have to copy your idea and go back to the airport driver that came with it on disc.
