How About Here in Baghdad.

Cos I cant get to any of the others in Brum, or at Alton Towers or Liverpool, or Essex.

So why not come here instead, weathers very nice and warm, dry. Perfect for a good old outdoor meet.

We'd be lucky to find anywhere to buy the alcohol tbh. A good old knees up style jihad never went a miss though :p

You'd be surprised, we have a store room full of Corona, or Amstel, or Carlsberg, or Captain Morgans Rum, or Brandy, shall I go on. Sorry no Champers though.

Don't get me wrong - I have the utmost respect for you and the other lads over there (and ladies) who are doing a fine job but isn't drinking alcohol in a Muslim country showing disrespect of your hosts?

Anyway, I'm up for it.

Not when we buy it from a Muslim shop its not.

I doubt the sale of alcohol in Iraq\Iran.

Tunisia is very similar to Turkey, that is a muslim country and they sell a few beers in shops.

I believe you can be punished under the local laws for importing beer etc.

Are you saying that we dont buy beer in Iraq from the local shops. Did you know there is an Amstel Brewery in Jordan ??? or an Efes Brewery in Turkey. Did you also know there is a small christian population here in Iraq, with a local church being at the end of our street. We buy beer from the local shops, the local muslim run shops. The duty free at the airport does not sell any alcohol as the transport minister forbade it, however you can buy alcohol at the airport, as there is a place that imports it, by the container load. Newcastle Brown, John Smithts, Strongbow. And its run by a guy that used to live in Manachester that also happens to be an Iraqi
