MI, what speed is that screen shot taken at? I can get about 9980PPD on my 4.0GHz i7 SMP client.

That was @3.8Ghz with 7 threads cos i was going to bed, Didn't fancy listening to the fans i have on the H50 going full pelt @2100 RPM.

But i now have it @ 4.1Ghz and will try 8 threads :D

Edit: 8 threads brings my computer to it's knees and one BSOD i need more ram aaaagggghhhhh :(

SiriusB, you've had a reprieve.

Some weirdness happened yesterday. It would appear that all of my rigs fell over at the same time - except the Games rig with the bigadv. I tried to log on with Logmein yesterday morning and I saw the Windows has recovered thing (it had blue screened - after working without a hitch for 3 weeks) so I restarted one of the SMP clients and then it froze. After that, I couldn't get logged in all day. I e-mailed my assistant Folder but she didn't get the e-mail until late. I got an e-mail this morning to tell me she'd restarted it. I logged in and got the clients all up and running (must remember to put them in the startup folder). When I started up HFM, I found that the living room media box is "not on" and nor is the bedroom Ubuntu rig - neither are visible on the network :confused:

It can't have been a power cut as the Gaming rig is still working - bigadv WU due to finish about 10:30 this morning as scheduled. Bit weird how they've all stopped at the same time except one. SiriusB, did you break into my flat and switch of three of my rigs? If so, you missed the big hitter - I don't know how you could, that Corsair Obsidian is a big bugger of a case ;)

Never mind, due to me only getting about 3,000 points yesterday, you've had a stay of execution - only temporary mind :p

I've e-mailed my lovely assistant again but will probably be short on points today again (apart from the 58,000 points from the bigadv WU ;)) as she doesn't usually get up until lunchtime on a Sunday and God knows when she'll check her e-mail.

I tried my best to switch off your -bigadv machine, but the gale force winds of sheer smug folding power emanating from it meant I couldn't approach it!
 
The deed is done. Dumped a bigadv WU this morning and went flying past SiriusB.

Nothing much else on the horizon for a couple of weeks. I get home in a week and I'll have to think about what I'm going to do. I'll probably switch over to the Bigstan account and cut back a bit. I really don't have the enthusiasm I had in the past and I'm not sure I'm keen enough to burn all the electricity this lot is going through. We'll see. You know me, it's usually all or nothing - I'm not usually happy just plodding along with an average output. I'll give it a try for a while but I may end up packing it in again now I've had my bit of fun. Maybe I'll have a break until I get moved and get set up in my new place.

I wish these damn bonus points would kick in. I was doing better on the A2 cores in VMware, although I Don't miss the VM's and their memory overhead (who would) I do miss the points, according to HFM I should be pushing around 34K PPD but EOC is only saying 23K :(

Same for me, actual ppd is 4000-6000 but HFM shows me 9200. Just a question of sticking with it I guess. When the bonus kicks in do you get bonuses for the first 10 units retrospectively or just from the 10th one onwards?
 
:( i need my bonus wish i knew how may WU's i have done think im nearly there :p I'll be pumping 30K out a day although got to sort out the affinity and priority out still keeps resetting itself not cool :(
