Latest Version of Winamp messes some of my skins up!

As per thread, I just downloaded the latest version of winamp and I get the following green 'disfunctional discolouration'

Any Ideas? :(

Is that the ClearOne skin? If so Raymond Lin had the same problem. I also had that when I tested that skin.

See http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17588869, OK we didn't actually fix it but I found a link to report the bug. Have you tried with a previous version of Winamp and the same skin to see if the skin is still borked. That way we can work out if it is the latest Winamp that is the problem or if it is the skin.

In that case head over to the Winamp forum and see if anyone else has used that skin with Winamp 5.23. If they have it might be a bug being fixed for 5.24 or they might know of a work around.

If no-one else has had that bug then report it. There is no point asking here for a fix if you a certain Winamp 5.23 is the culprit; the Winamp dev team need to know about bugs to fix them.

Also go back to the site the skin came from and tell them about it. There might be a new feature or a change in skin handling that we don't know about but they do. I checked out that site for Raymond and found a bug reporting link or email address. You might as well get them to look at it as well. They might be able to work out what about Winamp is causing the error and help Winamp fix it.

I am 100% sure its the new winamp that caused it. Been using that skin for 6 months no problem update to new winamp it happens. Revert back and its fine again.

I am running the old version until there is a bug fix.

Have you reported the bug though? Checked the Winamp forums for any info about this?

I'm also encountering the green corruption thing on the sliders with the skin I use. I don't think it's down to a particular skin, It's got to be the new release of Winamp itself.
