Latest Vista update

Self installed a couple of days ago then my computer hung, COM+ error and the internet went at a snails pace.

4 times before a system restore would work.

Now the bloody thing is sitting in my icon box ready to close my computer down and install them again.

No way of cancelling that is there, this happen to anyone else?

Set Windows Update to notify you before it downloads and installs any updates, you can then right click on any update that you don't want to install and select to hide the update so you won't be notified again, screenshot below.
