LaTeX with TexMaker and MacTeX, SVN client

Right, thought I may as well stick these together in the same thread.

1. I've installed MacTeX and TexMaker, but I'm not sure how to point TexMaker to the TeX location, Google is failing me here (only found an unanswered question in Italian). I'm used to TexMaker on Linux and Windows, so want to use it if possible on my Mac. Any pointers?

2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a Subversion client? I downloaded xSVN this morning, but found it not very helpful with the separate windows it creates for the SVN and working copy location. I'd prefer a complete package, it got quite confusing. I use TortoiseSVN for Windows, and while I won't be able to get a shell integrated for Mac (I'm guessing), I'd like all the options to be in one place...

Any help appreciated!

I don't know much about Latex etc... but I have heard of a lot of people using Textmate to create Latex documents, it can be found here: www.macromates.com and I do know it has SVN integrated as I use it when developing for php/rails - great program - it may be worth a look?

EDIT: It's "svnx" I've been trying to use, not xsvn...
