I've been looking for a latin quote that describes love for one's family but came across this:

I think that's pretty cool.

I was trying to have a conversation once with a friend in Latin (the fact neither of us could speak Latin wasn't going to stop us)

Was trying to find somewhere which would give me a crash course in Latin, and I came across this site

Would anyone know what the latin equivalent is for:

"It is a wise father that knows his own child"

"Is est a sapiens abbas ut teneo suus own parvulus"

which translates literally to

"This is a wise father when to occupy his own child"


I did latin standard grade...didnt learn anything though.
