anyone know what highest speed CPUs these can take are ? or what range

It uses a 945 chipset and takes 667MHz FSB c2d processors, socket 479. The fastest CPU it can take is the T7600 which runs at 2.33GHz, the T7400 and T7200 are much more cost effective upgrades though.

Nope that uses the 855pm chipset and takes 400mhz FSB socket 479 pentium M processors, with the fastest of those being the rare Pentium M 755 2ghz
