Latop hinge freeze

i have got a sony ar11m that i have had for a couple of years when all of sudden the hinge froze and has now snapped. i hear it quite a common problem. anyone know were to get the hinges or who can replace it.

Its only the left hand hinge.

I think fitting is a case of taking the plastic lcd bezel off, screws hidden under caps down the edges, then take the strip off along the edge of the keyboard, there might be some screws in the battery tray or on the base near that area, then you will see the screws that hold the hinge to the main chasis and also the hinge bracket/lcd area.

Usefull tools are a 0 philips screw driver and some kind of plastic instrument for splitting the case, an old credit card or similar will surfice.
