Launch ISO from an External HDD?

Is there anyway to use an ISO without burning to a disc?

I ask becuase I downloaded Win7 from MS last night but have no blank DVDs about the house and being the impatient tit I am, I'd like to get started.

Any ideas?

You could mount it with deamon tools if installing from Windows, but if your intending to fresh install from BIOS, no. Not that I know off.

Can I install 7 from inside XP then as a dual boot or something?

You can just copy all the files on the ISO to a spare partition on the hard disk, make that partition bootable and active, boot, install.

As long as 7 is the 32 bit version then yes. The other suggestions seem like good ones though

I installed win7 from a usb hard drive its the same method posted above for using a usb stick
