Laurel hedge issue

Anyone have any idea what’s going on here? Can’t see no pests. Might this be a case of not enough water?

Anyone have any idea what’s going on here? Can’t see no pests. Might this be a case of not enough water?
Not enough water??? Where do you live Spain?
Is it planted anywhere near trees at all?
I planted a lot of this stuff at my old house in a bid to grow a screen around the front garden and the ones furthest from any trees did incredibily well, but they do seem to be very thirsty and the closer to the trees they were the more they sucked and did this kind of thing.

Laurels are thirsty and hungry, but I’ve never seen ours do that.

Had any late frosts recently? Looks like frost damage

It it grows out/don't see it again for the rest of the summer its frost damage soft young foliage is especially vulnerable tough old leaves the most resistant
