Lavasoft Personal Firewall -any good?

Was browsing Lavasoft's webpage, who are more famous for Ad-Aware, and saw a link to Lavasoft Personal Firewall. :eek:

Has anybody use it before? If so, is it as good, or better, then Sygate? :cool:

dont know about the fire wall but ive got the ad ware se personal and that very good so im aasuming that will be pretty gd 2

cant comment as i dont use it

i use sygate....in the last 3 years ive not had any problems (TOUCH WOOD)

Lavasoft firewall borrows its technology from some other company (IIRC Agnitum, famed for their Outpost firewall).

Basically, its a very good app but there are perfectly good freeware alternatives such as Comodo or Ashampoo.

xpsp2 firewall is more than enough if you're confident enought that you won't install anything dodgy that tries to use your outgoing connections

the fact that you're a member at ocuk forums should grant that!

Comodo Firewall and Antivirus programs are ace. Give them a try. They are free too!
