Ive just had an agent from Huxley Associates call me to advise that they have an "opportunity" for me in the I.T. department of a law firm in Birmingham.
The way he desribed the role was pretty much what I am looking for. However the way he described his client was that they are the "cream of the crop" when it comes to law firms and there is an air of arrogance within the company. Now I have pretty good people skills and an extremely high degree of tolerance and patience, especially when it comes to the field of I.T. Support. My question is, how far will the lawyers in this firm push my boundaries?
Has anyone had any experience of working in the I.T. department of a law firm?
My missus was offered a similar job towards the end of January but turned it down because shes going into teaching later this year, otherwise I would have been able to ask her.
The salary is quite good for the role Im after and Im wondering if this is even too good to be true
