Layers in Lightroom or Aperture

Interesting looking stuff from onOne. Free public preview for you to try too. Could very well be the last bastion that many people were looking for to ditch Photoshop and move to Lightroom all together (Though I still think you should always have a copy of it just in case!)

Would anyone else consider purchasing this to add it into their workflow? Or just wait to see if Apple/Adobe bring it out themselves?

Cool, this is one of the things that Lightroom should have had from the beginning

You can bet your bottom dollar that if someone ie ononesoftware is making money out of it, then Adobe probably will follow.

To be honest now I've had a little more of a look into it, it's seeming like a huge let down. You basically open the photos from within Lightroom into this program, do your layered edits, then once you're back into Lightroom it's flat again. Just like you would currently do with Photoshop. So, not much to see here unfortunately It's actually looking cheaper to buy Photoshop Elements if you want a layer-able additional editing program.
