Lazy, cheeky Facebook!

Just logged into my account as I'm just in contact with a friend in Scotland and on the frontpage there is the following plea:

Help translate Facebook into English (UK) so that it can be used by people all over the world, in all languages.

Click on the Translate Facebook button to add the Translations application, developed by Facebook so that you can be part of the community of translators

So they are asking for users to do this for free, instead of Facebook Inc. paying to get it done? Outrageous.

/cue regular "You are a loser if you use Facebook" posts..

they probably don't have the money to translate it themselves now no-one uses the new fb.

If people are willing to do something for free then surely it is impossible to criticize a company for opting to take that approach.
