am i right in thinking lazy pixels are the type where they are a pixel of any colour that decide to stay that colour when ever they want.

Ive got the HannsG 19" TFT, and the time ive noticed this most is after playing games i get alow of lazy a** pixels all over the screen which maily show up in areas of the screen that are black (ill try and take a photo the next time it happens).

It used to happen on my old PC, but its also happening on the new PC ive just built so its definily the monitor.

The strange thing is switching the monitor off, then back on again and the lazy gets decide to be active again.

Is there any way of stopping it happening (without turing the monitor off then back on again)

If there is lots of them then read the warranties take on lazy/dead pixels, you might be able to RMA it.

I get this sometimes on my 17" Acer. I normally get rid of it by moving things around on screen behind the lazy pixels. eg thrash the mouse cursor around the pixels/move some windows around.
