Lazy Spec Me Thread - ~£250 for Mobo, CPU, GFX & RAM

Right, I need some bits to build a new PC.

I will need:

- CPU
- Mobo
- RAM
- Video

I might throw an SSD in at some point, but don't think that makes any odds here.

Assume budget of about £250 for the above less SSD. Current PC is an ancient Q6600 at 3.2, 4GB RAM and a GTX295, so something significantly faster would be spiffing.

I'll be looking to buy from the MM for maximum bargains. Also, I'm not loyal to a particular brand for anything although I suspect Intel might be the direction to go in.

What would be worthwhile adding to my shortlist? Cheers!

Xbox One or PS4 fits the budget nicely

I think a full system on that budget might be pushing it for GTA V, maybe a used 2500k based system? Or an i3 with a half decent GPU.

PS4 one day, not yet though. I was interested in picking up a hex core Xeon, but the motherboards are too expensive. I think perhaps a 2500k could be the way forward.

If you do decide to go Intel I would suggest one of these. They have incredible price to performance.
