long story short, invested in an RBX, 1250 pump some tubing and made a bong cooler.
decapped cpu now (as we speak) orthos @ 3100mhz @ 1.65V
my question is, anyone got tips on mounting this block on de-capped cpu's? its been a pig so far, its working now with about 8c between cores loaded (and 5c the other way idle). this is a bit worrying as i dont want to crush the core and getting these temps ment hand tighening in bios load till it stopped dropping (i couldnt tighten any more!)
full stepping is LCB9E 0641 APMW Z
(orthos failed at 14 mins, failed as temps increased - the bong isnt going yet, im just cycling water)
