LCD, intermittent HTPC source

Hi
I have a Samsung LE32A457 connected to my HTPC by HDMI.
The picture is excellent and it all works fine;…………….

However if the LCD is not manually switched onto the correct source (HDMI2) before the HTPC is turned on then a message is displayed saying no signal.

If I then restart the PC the LCD suddenly recognises the signal.

It also happens if I’m using the HTPC then switch over to the TV then try to switch back.

Is there a setting I’ve missed as this is getting rather annoying :confused:

That is slightly reasuring as it could mean its not a fault with the LCD, does anyone else have a problem with there HTPCs and LCDs?

I looked into the HDMIOn and it looks like its a good work around for the dodgy ATI drivers which appear to be the cause.

Will try it at the weekend. Althouh I do have a spare NVIDEA card so might chuck that in and see it the problem goes away.
