LCD Monitor Scratch - Repair Possible?

I've picked up a tiny but maddeningly irritating scratch on my 2405FPW. It's on the outer layer - not the actual TFT (you can 'see around' the back of the scratch and the TFT's okay.

I'd rather take the hit of a couple of big ones to get it sorted, rather than keep on getting hacked off every time I look at it

Anyone know of anywhere to get it fixed? No "T-Cut it out" replies thanks - I think it's a new top screen or nothing.

Give this chap a call, he says he can fix them. Laptop and screen repairs Good luck, let us know what the quote is if he can do it.

Ah, great find! I didn't find anything when I googled this afternoon, cheers!
I'll give 'em a ring tomorrow. I'm up in Lancs next month too, so fingers crossed...

By the way, Dell told me to take it to OI! COMPETITOR! NO!... I kid you not! :eek:

Puzzling. Thanks for the link though. I think if it was possible and made sense economically, more people would be offering the service, but I've looked around and there doesn't appear to be anyone...
