Well, say If i had a 19inch lcd monitor, dell 1905fp specs with 8ms.. and I got a 19inch hd ready lcd tv. which would be better quality and which one would have better colours etc as I might be getting one for everything. pc use, tv etc

the monitor is likely to have a higher resolution so better for using on the computer. A TV with come with a tuner though, so if you went for a monitor your gonna have to get a Tuner card in your PC.
The TV is more likely to be HDCP ready though but no one really knows if thats gonna be a problem yet or not.

well it depends.
no oner eally knows yet if HDCP is really gonna become the norm. If it is then its probably worth it, though you will still need to upgrade your gfx card to get it to work anyway. No gfx card on the market supports it yet, even though the ATI x1000 cards can have it implimented aslong as the chip is put on the board (so far as i know, might just be the x1900 though).
the colours and response times are likely to be just as good though. The samsung TV's use their PVA tech i believe, and these do the full 16.7m colours and are down to an 8ms response time... your likely to find more connections on a TV too but ive not seen any decent TVs of that size personally....
ive been debating going for a 20" monitor or a 23" tv but no where seems to stock any really good 23" TV's. All the ones that i can find to get hold of are underspecced and overpriced.
