LCD monitors tend to be cheap than HDTVs and have a better picture so I might get a widescreen one for my Wii but how many in OcUK will support the Wii? Such has have Svideo socket, audio and video sockets, HDMI or component cable sockets.

Most of the monitors just have analogue or DVI connections, only if you get the really expensive monitors that they start having other input/outputs and when you get to them prices you might aswell just buy a proper HDTV.

480p will look like crap on a high res PC widescreen LCD...Or it does on my dell 2405 anyway..

You be better off buying a 720p HD LCD TV..

well thats sorta the cood thing about the wii's value it will look best on a old sdtv, ie go and find a big crt/rear projection.

I found this

Dell

All looks good apart from the response time which is 16. Eight or less is a must for gaming I think if you don't want anoying ghosting.

Response time importance varies from person to person, I've not really had much of a problem playing on 25ms monitors. Wait for some Dell owners to reply though and see what they say about the 360 on it.

Im using my 360 on a Dell 2405fpw with a 16ms response time, no problems what so ever here :D

The monitor I'm using on my PC now is a BenQ FP71E+ which has 8 response time. Wouldn't this make me notice any ghosting with being spoilt with my current monitor?

I had a horrible exp with a monitor with 25 response time it realy spoilt my MorrowWind enjoyment because of it.

I have read, but please don't quote me on it that 16ms is suppost to be the magic number when it comes to montior response and the human eye etc. etc. so in theory anything 16ms or lower shouldn't be an issue. I based this on my purchase of the 2405 and wasn't dissapointed. Hopefully we will get some replies from the peeps which have the monitor your after and all will be revealed.

25ms is a big nasty no no for such reasons

I own a Dell Ultrasharp 2007WFP and use it for 360 gaming. Never seen any ghosting and would definately recommend it!
