Right, the time has come to get a new TV in a week or so. Now Ive got around £700 to spend.

The TV will be for the bedroom, so nothing over 40" is necessary. 1080p and wall mountable. I Shall be around 8-9ft from it most of the time. Going to be connected to a PS3, sometimes the laptop too and sound would be output to an AMP at a later date.

Dont think Ive missed anything so what do you guys recommend?

Thanks :)

If you are 8-9' from it then you won't get the benefit for 1080p. You'd be better off going with a 720p screen that has decent image processing than concentrating on making sure it's 1080p.

Its just so it can last a little longer. If I do move out then Ive got a decent TV for a front room before I can afford a better one at the time :)

Both fail, especially the hanspree. And don't believe user reviews, people who have bought them will always give 5*.

Check out the new samsung series, panasonic pX80 42 inch and maybe even the new LG scarlets.
