LCD- Plamsa quick question

[lynchy6789]

Doing a computer build soon and i have a Samsung Bordeaux LE26R87BDX 26" HD Ready Freeview LCD TV (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=AV-034-SA&groupid=703&catid=511&subcat=)

that is being unused and wondered if this could be used as a pc monitor for gaming etc. If not what are the diffrences between monitors and LCD screens
