I'm trying to sort out my son's bedroom this xmas. What I want is to be able to plug his PC & Xbox into one single widescreen LCD monitor.
Can anyone recommend some widescreen LCD screens [max budget £250, preferably nearer £150 though] that will work well (ie images that won't look too stretched etc with the Xbox games)? All he's got at the moment for his PC is an old crt monitor.
Also, what cables will I need? At the moment he plugs his Xbox into the lounge TV using a component cable [think thats what it is: red, white & yellow jack]. He says this is the only cable he's got for his Xbox.
I was originally looking for a screen that had both VGA & DVI inputs but would it be better to find a screen that has HDMI for his Xbox instead?
Finally, what about audio? I'm assuming he can use the line-in port on his soundcard so he can use his desktop speakers? If so, how should the Xbox connect to this?
Soz about the long post
