LCD TV or Monitor?

ok... i am looking to upgrade my monitor.. which i want to use as a tv also.

Would i be better off getting and seperate monitor and then a digital tuner for my pc. or get a HD Ready tv and use my pc through that?

I use my pc for gaming and watching HD Video, I will also put my xbox 360 through the monitor/TV..

depends how far away from it you plan to sit really i guess. If you're at a distance then may aswell get a TV. althugh bear in mind that it won't have as much detail as a PC monitor unless you get a 1080p.
