LCD TV or Monitor

Which is best. My 3 year old AWD has just died on me. The signal light is all that works now. So need a replacement real quick. Can get a Benq 24" for £140 or a wall mounted 26"(£150)/32"(£190) led tv. Are there any real advantages, monitor over tv or vice versa. Or should i just stick with my 40" led Samsung? Need a voice of experience.

WIll be playing games ie Crysis2. Also would liike to get the full benefit of my MSI GTX560ti Twin Frozr.

The quality of the benq will be better than the tv. If you are going to use it mainly for the computer I would go the benq.

Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 23" Widescreen £190. Is this a good monitor and worth the price?

My monitor is a AMW not AWD, sorry, only just noticed my error. Also, only just found out that they no longer exist.
