LCD TV - VGA Input - How to move display?

hi guys,

my pc is plugged into the VGA input of my Samsung 26"... the picture looks great (1320x768) but it is about 5mm to the left and obviously on a monitor it is easy to twiddle the settings but i can't find how to do this on the telly...

anyone know how i can do this?

Set it to 1360 * 768?

Have you got 1:1 pixel mapping enabled? There may be an option called "just scan" to disable overscan

sorry thats what i meant 1360...

the res is definitely right, i just need to move the image to the right a bit like you can on any pc monitor...

Yeah unfortunately its not that simple for TVs

If 1:1 pixel mapping isn't supported then you may be stuck with overscan.

Moving around won't work as the signal will shift a bit when you turn the tv on next time.

Check if DVI _ HDMI will do 1360 res with 1:1 mapping.

this maybe a stupid answer . but have you tried pressing the arrow buttons on your remote . you know ... up down left right. got a new 32inch tele . tried it out with pc and it works like that. its on vga too.
