I have been given a full refund for my busted Samsung TV so I now have £1000 to spend on a new LCD TV... 32inch again would be good

Recomendations plz?

Cheers for them :D

only problem is the place ive been given credit for dsnt do those models :(
bar the Sharp LC-32GD8 which is poo lol

The best ones I can see they do are the Samsung LE32N73BD and the Philips 32PF9641D which has ambilight

Any feedback on these two sets?

No problem it's a personal thing. I have fantastic image quality and can fully recommend the set :) Using it for Xbox 360, Sky HD + Sky SD and HD + SD Dvd's :)

Ahhh maybe thats why :p im not on HD signals yet :D

Well totally changed my mind in store, was not impressed with the Samsung quality and the screen on the Philips wasnt impressive... ended up going for the new Sony Bravia LCD

thats a shame because the samsungs and sonys use the same panel:p there is a difference, but its not massive. The sonys are the better of the two because of the electronics they use. theres more to an lcd than just the panel as you probably know:)

Thats why I said the Samsung build quality looked poor not the screen ;)
Was all shiney black plastic... with a clear peice of plastic at the base... looked very tacky

oops i said poorer quality i missed a word out :p sorry

I meant a poorer build quality, but actually the picture did seem more washed out then the sony
