I use a DVI - VGA cable because my old monitor was VGA only. However my TV is DVI. I used one of those little adapter to make this cable DVI.
But my LCD TV goes off just before the windows welcome screen, everything works in F8 VGA Mode. If i change the resolution at all the screen goes off again.
If i connect up my old monitor i can get picture again for the tv until i switch it off.
What is the problem?
