no idea if in right place but
In work today had a new tele put out which is a samsung LED TV. OMG it looks good. played transformers blu-ray through it and best quality i've seen it in, shame about the cost over £1500.
just had to tell

How does plasma compared to LED? Out of interest... most results on google are from fairly biased sites.

Superior in my experience. Pioneer Kuro's are the pick of the bunch and the Panasonic Viera range is up there too.

So this is an LCD TV? Not sure why Kol said LED as well.

As for OLED TVs, i don't think they are retail yet.

Because the main body of the text says LED, so I assumed it was the new LED backlit models, which a number of stores are already stocking. Not OLED.

Plasma's can seem a little dull in shops due to the lighting making LCD's more attractive.
