Hi all.

As I don't have a xbox 360 anymore and can't play red dead redemption :(
So I was looking for some thing like it on pc but there is not much out it seems :(

But this lead and gold does not look to bad for just online play.

Anyone have it ? is there still people playing it online much?

Thanks.

Not sure have not tired it but if you want cowboy games, could try Gun or Call of Jaurez/Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

I had gun a long time ago but never played Call of Jaurez so mite give that a try :)

Really wanting to play red dead but I don't think it's worth buying a xbox 360 for 1 game lol :(

Thanks.

Red dead was a great game I'm downloading the Call of Juarez Demo now only ever play it over a mates a while back seem to be a good game, Bound is blood is the prequel to first Call of Juarez incase you end up buying them.

Heres a demo link for the first one: http://www.gamershell.com/download_14784.shtml

Its a shame there's not to many cowboy games out I like genre, and I hope Rockstars brings red dead to pc I can see it selling well.

Personally I thought L&G was a pile of sheet, avoid it. I can't see how there'd be any players left online anyway tbh.

I agree with the other poster though, CoJ Bound in Blood was a seriously good game. A rare hit for Techland.

Just a headsip the GOTY edition of RDR comes out today on PS3 (and presumably XB360 as well), £23.85 @ The Hut. I play 99.9% of my games on PC but may get it for PS3 as it has great reviews, no doubt it will just sit in its box for a couple of years like most console games I buy :)

Thanks I will give the demo a try.

I don't think red dead will ever come to pc it has been to long :(

Me neither after reading this
“We do know that, yes, there is just one title absent from our PC release plans – that game of course being Red Dead Redemption, and of course we’re well aware that some fans have been asking for it,” a spokesperson wrote on the Rockstar Blog.

“All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100 percent of the time for all platforms.

“To PC gamers, we hope that between the Grand Theft Auto titles, and the forthcoming L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, you’ll have plenty of great Rockstar action to enjoy.”

and this.......

Rockstar Games has ruled out the possibility of Red Dead Redemption coming to PC - for the time being, at least.

"As of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform," reads a statement on RockstarGames.com. "If that should change, we will let you know."

And it could change, of course - Rockstar's previously brought the likes of GTA over to consoles some time after the original release. Breath-holding probably not advisable, though.

Yeah the GOTY version looks good with all the dlc for around £25 :)

I did have red dead before and have all of the DLC as well before I sold my xbox as I stopped playing games on it for a while :(

This why I am sort wanting a game like red dead on pc but there seems to be nothing as good yet. ( still got to test out Bound in Blood demo :)

lead and gold looked like it could be interesting when i played through the tutortial.

unfortuatlly thats as far as i got with it, as it simply refused to connect to any online game

I got my self a cheap xbox 360 in the end with read dead :)

So much fun playing but not used a controller in a while and finding a hard some times lol.

Will have to get gears of war 3 as well soon lol

I played it a while back on a free weekend and thought it was alright tbh

Smacked of a budget title and for £6.99 I definetely would.

I grabbed it when it was ridiculously cheap (£1.99 or something silly), and had some fun with it. Finding a server that didn't have annoying amounts of lag was a rare occurrence though, and after trying it again the other week, there was hardly anyone playing it.

In short, I wouldn't bother now.

I'm also praying to the gaming gods for Red Dead Redemption on PC :D I'm with you on console gaming. I tried playing Halo at a friend's house a few nights ago. We used to be really good at it, but having not played it, or indeed any console game, for so long, we just got destroyed. Aiming with a joystick is horrible :p
