I seem to suffer from these afflictions badly, and there is nothing I can do about it :(

As soon as my car is warmed up it doesn't leave the redline. Ever. My right foot becomes nailed to the floor, and I physically can't remove it. I find myself having traffic light GPs.......

......against myself :(

I throw it into every corner like a man possesed. Getting the Integra has made me worse, not better.

I'll never grow up.

And as for modding, remember when I said 'I'm not going to mod the 'teg'? Yeah right, who the **** was I trying to kid, I have already changed the wheels, I have a rear strut brace in the post (I was offered one at the bargain price of £20, it was impossible to refuse), and I am more than likely going to strip the interior. I have also been pricing up rollcages :o

It's going to be getting various chassis bits (uprated ARB, tie bars, H-Brace etc), probably some coilovers, maybe a set of large stoppers.

All this will come after the paint of course :o

I'm not the only person like this am I? I need help, it's worse than crack :(

I knew you wouldnt hold off leaving it alone, from the scoob and the rex it was obvious you have the bug big time.

Do what you want to the car, but for the love of all thats holy dont put stick on tat on it and add rear spoilers, it looks too good as it is.

Lol drexel, nah you arnt the only one

My Mr2 has been off the road since october, having 'new mods' fitted :o ;) and I said I wasnt going to mod that much

currently pimping a Toyota Camry V6 :D , WHICH I WONT MOD!!!

Exterior will remain pretty much as-is, apart from maybe a carbon bonnet and that Mugen stripe. I love the way it looks at the moment, especially with the new wheels.

It has a 'get in and abuse me' thing going on

I hate stick on tat but the Mugen stripe on a white Teg looks awesome:o

Haven't got round to it yet, and they've been on the car since tuesday :o

I might take some tomorrow, but it'll more than likely be over the weekend. I need to find somewhere suitably 'urban' to take them ;)

:( I also am constantly flooring mine as soon as its warmed up driving it like a hot hatch when it just isnt meant to be I have no self control :p

Your not alone brother lol

I do half my driving wearing a pair of these, probably explains the MPG i get sometimes! They are just awesome for pedal feel and heal+toe ;)

But i bet you are having fun in the process, i bet i will be exactley the same. I havnt even finnished my project at the mo and im looking for annother :D

Sign me up LOL.
My car is forever begging me to spend money on it. In one month I have spent about 25% on top of the purchase price, thats before the huge amount of fuel I have put in it due to lead foot syndrome.
Next month is going to be brakes which is gonna cost me maybe another 20-25% again all said and done.
The Integra I didn't spend as much on performance mods, but spent a fortune on stereo gear which I really didn't actually need and something I am not doing to the S4. All I put on that was a Spoon filter and a decat.

Already I am planning the next bout of modifications after that, it doesn't look like its going to end any time soon.
Cars to some are to get from A-B keeping the rain of their heads, to me they are an expensive hobby, but then I don't spend huge amounts on drinking every weekend or computer bits etc...

I am exactly the same, I am absolutely addicted to cars and driving, I love it; When I'm not driving, I'm constantly thinking about driving... At night, I like to review my days driving in my head, considering where I went and where I can push for that little bit more speed... I bore anyone who will listen about cars... I like to spend my spare time watching Men and Motors and Eurosport for any motorsport it's all good; wrc rally, fia gt, formula 1, gp2, wtcc, btcc, less mainstream things like drifting, drag racing and heck even low level motorsport like karting... I browse the internet posting on car forums everyday... Like Drexel I actually cannot control myself, my car lives in the redline, even if I'm on a congested road doing 40mph and everyone is maintaining that speed not accelerating, I don't like putting it in 4th, or 3rd, I like it in second... I have recently got a Logitech G25 £150 PC steering wheel see: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GC-016-LG and I spend at least 2 hours a day driving Live For Speed racing simulator (which I highly recommend) racing people online and have clocked up 4000 miles in less than two months (it's awesome not paying for petrol) and I do about 14,000 miles a year IRL, 66% of the mileage is purely recreational, driving around for the love of it with no destination. This week I've decided I want to buy a lot of motorsport clothing. I'm going to order two Sparco t-shirts and a Sparco hoodie from America ( http://www.sparcoracing.com/images/D/318.jpg how cool is that ) and intend to purchase the 2007 McClaren Mercedes F1 team t-shirt which I'm sure I'll never be out of. What will I be like when I can get insured on something seriously quick I don't know... I'll probably live in it :p

I seem to be part of this, everytime I have a spare hour and I could be doing something else I think "I'll go out for a quick drive" been the same with every car I've had.
I've had the car for 2 weeks and travelled 1200 miles and spent about 190quid on fuel  and I don't even use it for work!

Also despite thinking it was good as is, no mods necessary, I'm aready looking at various bits to spice things up :(

I got 32.3mpg today.

You're fired. :p

Drexel, by far the best thing i've done to my Integra so far is getting proper brakes put on it. I've got a funny feeling i'm going to spend a little more cash than i'd like on the "standard" engine rebuild which is looming in the near future. Ahh well :D
