Lead foot and modding..

Im not sure on that, I think the fixed cameras have to be within 14 days. Maybe its the same. What was the limit and your indicated speed.

Its possible the police would work with the camera. It might have been linked to anpr database rather just for speed. They then pull for no tax disk, etc

They are slowly increasing that kind of activity. Theres a big online pdf scheduling it all but every force by now will have one anpr car with camera automatically checking all details in view

Was a 30 limit, and became visible over a crest which I had accelerated a touch to go up. I think it was around 36-38 but I hit the brakes the second I saw it. This might sound like bad driving but it was on the way into a village and this part of the road has no pavement or roads joining it. I hate hitting brakes in this way but it was a reaction to seeing the camera. The camera was setup to catch people IMO.

Fruther up the road, there was a sign saying police checks and a police car and about 5 police men/women in a layby. The man said the high number of police was due to an operation in the area.

He ran through car/insurance/id checks and wrote out a ticket which he said wouldn't go on any records, which seems to make it a bit pointless for them to go to the effort of carefully filling it out.
