Hi
I have a leak i.e. water is seeping from the top of the pump, between the black clip and the pump. Please see link below for a photo.
I didn't install the cooling and don't know much about watercooling so any help to remedy this would be appreciated. What is the best course of action?

Can I tighten the black clip if so how? Would this help?

Also how do I drain the system and refill it?

Sorry for the silly questions- Here is my set up:

EK Supreme CPU Block
XSPC 360 Radiator
Ek Laing DDC 18W Pump
XSPC Res

You can push the clip further together, by squeezing the 2 ends. Do not put too much pressure on it though, it could crack!

looks like your o ring may have split.

water coming from the bottom of the fitting rather than the top.

if you overtightened the fitting two things could have happened
1. the oring could have split.
2. the plexi top could have cracked.

the oring splitting is the most likely.

i would hold the pump over a container and let it drain out.

Thanks for this-
What is the O ring and how to I get at it? Can these be renewed?

How do I prize open the black clip? How does the pump fit to the bottom of the case is it magnetic?

Sorry for the stupid questions

Thanks

The o ring is a rubber o ring (pretty self explanatory:p)
They're at the bottom of the fittings
They're available really cheap off eBay or at competitors
To undo the clip you need to push one end forwards and the other backwards.
As for the pump, it depends on how it's attached.

Where did you get your rig?

Ah I see, like a washer.
I will drain the system and then have a look at the pump and see what the issue is.

Last silly questions- what is the best way to fully drain it?

Do I then just fill up the radiator and run it? I have 1L of coolant- is this enough?

Cheers

to drain it, just cut the tube after the res and blow found that to be easiest.

Then you need to flush your radiators for the next fill
