Leak testing, do I need to? & correct method.

My watercooling is nearly ready to be leak-tested. I'm using 7/16" ID tubing so once it's over the barb it provides a pretty tight seal, I'm also using only o-ring barbs and metal clamps on the hose as well.

With this in mind is it essential that I do a 24hr leak test or can I be fairly confident that I won't have any leaks?

If I do have to leak test.. then I'm guessing I need to get my PSU working without the use of the pwr_sw on the mb (currently using a screwdriver to turn pc on ;) ). The method is something to do with putting a wire inbetween a couple of pins on the 24pin line isn't it? I can't remember exactly but I know I've seen it somewhere!

Any comments appreciated

Cheers for advice, I guess I'm just keen to actually finish the whole thing off but will definitely leak test then..

When filling my system, do I turn the pump on as I'm filling it to get coolant into all areas? or will it fill up first and then I can turn the pump on?
