My water cooling just dribbled over what you see in my sig. The good news is that it's non-conductive (I think :o ), the bad is that now the chipset fan doesn't work. It's wet at the moment but i'm drying it out on the radiator. Is it going to be ok?? The liquid went on the mobo too but it seems to be doing ok. I've had to drop my overclock because of the lack of fan but the PC is holding up for now. I really need advice on what to do next. If the fan is really dead, can I get a new one anywhere?

Thanks for your help.

sounds ok to me. If anything bad was going to happen it would happen instantly. But to be safe i would leave your pc off for a while and make sure it dried out properly and replace that chipset fan.

thanks for the replies, so you think I should buy a completely new fan? It seems to be able to be removed from the chassis so i should be able to do it if a have to.

i'd double check the fluid is non-conductive. just replace the chipset fan with something bigger and better, might even help increase your overclock :)
