Anyone ever heard of one of these leaking? I had a quick google and couldn't see anything.
Here is the story...
I have my FT02 on top of a piece of wood (off an old wardrobe) to keep it off the carpet. When I moved my tower the other day and there was a nice puddle of water underneath (on the wood)...
The water was below the 1st case fan (approx location), but the radiator for the 920 is above the 3rd fan. :-s
There was no disruption to the thin layer of dust under the fans on the intake slot...
Being the curious person i am i had a little taste of the water and it tasted bitter lol.
I gave the radiator a tiny wiggle and I could still hear water inside. I was uber delicate when fitting the cooler to ensure that this doesnt happen.
I have hada close inspection of the internal components and there doesnt seem to be any signs of water
temps at idle (whilst writing this) are: 26-35-36-33 (C)
highest core at 100% load after just over an hour of Prime was 62 (C).
Everything is at stock, using the pre-applied thermal paste.
Do these temps seem ok or does it appear to have lost some fluid?
If so what could this liquid be? i quizzed everyone and no one admitted to spilling a drink etc lol... condensation?
Thanks
