The wife noticed last night that there seems to be a small leak under the kitchen sink at the connection where the water pipe connects to the isolation tap.

It's not much, more like a weep than flowing water, but needs sorting.

Was going to just have a go at tightening up the connection a little but is there anything else I should/shouldn't do before calling out a plumber?

Thanks!

lol yeah got that sorted already just in case ;) Just a pain as it's a relatively new build (2.5 years old).

Mine weeps like Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars. I'm going to just get it replaced with a lever valve.

It's not the tap bit itself, just where the whole thing fixes to the main pipe, and I'm clueless with this stuff ;)
