learning english with games and TeamSpeak

Hi Guys,

i´am from germany and i will learn english. I think its good when i play a game with someone and talk in teamspeak with him/her, beaucse all people say:
"If you want to learn English: talk in english with someone!"

So... if you like to play with me a game on the PC and you like to help me learning english then say YES :D

I think there is an unofficial TS server floating around, and a couple of guys here host their own, I am also looking for the Discord server. As above ^ what games do you play?
 
Some of the people that I played WoW with back in the day. Said they learned a lot of English from playing WoW with English speakers while on Teamspeak.
 
I strongly suspect that my friends & guildies from all over europe, have better english than me! :D I would probably make them worse, certainly took them some time to get used to my accent (yorkshire)

Haha I have the exact same problem, even most Brits cant understand me.

Was something I found funny in Eve Online - where voice comms are used a lot. So many people who weren't native English or from a country where English was generally used with better English than most natives. You'd be chatting away to someone who had no problem understanding slang, etc. and then find out they were from Lithuania or Bulgaria or something.
 
played with a lot of euros over the years.. wow BF3 cs etc... and most scandys can speak better english then us :D

swedish mate of mine said he didnt learn any english at school and learn from TS + movies and tv series.. if you heard him he sounds like hes from cornwall lol!
 
Was in a clan a few years ago there was a guy who joined who's English was so broken like he could just about say hello and play game. :D thought after 6 months with us he was completely understandable in conversation and just needed polishing around the edges :D

I think the first words he learnt were " Floppy, **** off "

That could be me! My english is very very bad. The most of the text i write here is from Google translator

Once it will be difficult to talk with me when i understand nothing :b

I dont know witch game i will play. I prefer a free game like Aion. But when someone says "hey we have a nice guild and we play this game but it cost" then i say okay! i will buy this game ^^
Because i like all games. Minecraft, Aion, Cod (but only on the ps3), ...whatever

Definitely a good way to learn some slang, played some Destiny with guys from work and it's pretty good for learning, as there's usually context around the chat so you can figure a lot out.
