¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm a die hard Logic 5.51 user at it was the last PC version before it went apple only.

Anyway, I'm getting to grips with v8, but there's so much new stuff it's untrue.

I was wondering if any of you guys here use it and if there are and recommended tutorials of videos?

So far I've found some good ones on www.macprovideo.com but I was wondering if there's anything else - free preferably. ;)

Stick 'LogicPro' or similar into the SOS website search, plenty on there.

There's much help available, albeit at a cost sometimes. Although, as I've always said, 'most' will never exploit the application's real potential, much like PS.

Cheers for the links guys, that should give me something to get my teeth into. :)

I'll check out the SOS website also, I used to buy it quite a bit a while back...

Do what I did and buy the Logic books by David Nahmani. They're excellent, one is for the basics and the second is for advanced. A well known world-wide retailer that's named after a famous river sells them both for £39.88.
They're made up of tutorials and both include a DVD with the sample material on.

I've just done this - Christmas present to myself. :)

I use Logic Express 8, but I have also use Pro. I found them easy enough to get to grips with and I went into Logic only have my musical ability and using garage band a couple of times.

Also.. have you considered getting trained at an Apple Store? It's £77 for a year, you can have a lesson a week, and if you want you can have a lesson on Logic every week for the whole year. For the price you pay the training at Apple Stores is fantastic, if you're near one consider it :)

I've considered this, but it would mean trekking into London every week, plus being at uni down here doesn't help. Maybe if they opened an Apple store in Pompey...!

^ Cheers, I didn't think to search youtube. Nice vids. :)

I didn't think there was an Apple store near me, but after searching Google maps, there's one in a new shopping centre that opened last month! You can't go wrong for just over a pound a week...
buy the official training book.
I have done now, I'm on the basics one and it's great.
comes with some great tutorials on the DVD in the box :D
Which DVD is that? There's 7 of them! Is it the showcase one?
