Learning to write apps?

I have no previous experience of programming/coding etc, sabe for some bery basic BASIC and abit of html/css.

What is the best way to start learning how to write apps?
I haven't got any specific ideas for an app in mind but think I would like to have a go in general and see how I go.
Just have no idea where and how to start!

Avy help/suggestions/links appreciated :)
 
Ha:p good point!

Probably Android, but if one is easier than the others then at this stage i would go with that. I have access to devices running all three OS'es.
