So purchased my golf GTi with leather seats in October 2018. 2nd hand from a dealership where the car was owned by the dealership (used by the sales team). Car was registered by the dealer in July... So car is pretty much one year old, 3 months for the dealer, 9 months for me.

I've noticed today that there is already issues with the drivers leather seat which is extremely disappointing for a £1500 extra. I'm a slender 10st guy so not exactly pummeling the seat. Most days I drive to and from work so again, I'm not in and out the car 20 times a day.

What are my odds of getting VW to look at and repair the (replace?) the drivers seat

Urgh, internet in Anglesey is... disappointing!

Maybe (re: jeans) but I'd feel confident arguing that a seat cover should be capable of handling the most common form of lower clothing.

@Dangerous - good to hear, I really don't want to have to fight for something... So the cheaper it is, easier it will be to get.
